God Has Always Loved Us

love_poem_400x400God Has Always Loved Us

I was reading the Book of Genesis recently and I was amazed of God’s love for His creations. So often when I read this book, I was more conscious of the Fall of Man than anything. But this particular time, God showed me something beautiful—His love for His children.

When Adam and Eve disobeyed God, immediately the consequences went into action. Yes, they had to leave the Garden of Eden, yes they surely had to die and yes they were set to suffer to survive. As harsh as this may sound, God knew what was best for them. He gave them covering for their bodies; drove them out of the Garden knowing if they ate of the Tree of Life they would suffer forever. He did not want that for them.

Even though they were disobedient, He still loved them. I never realized how much God lost in their disobedience. Their perfect relationship was gone. This was a painful time for God.

Gen 6:6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

Even though Adam and Eve sinned causing us to be sinners, God had a plan to bring us back into His grace. He gave us Jesus. Since the beginning of time God loved us. We are so much like Adam and Eve. We cannot comprehend God’s love for us and we take chances disappointing Him knowing somewhere inside of us He loves us. He will not leave us behind.

Jhn 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

I thank you Jesus for loving our Father enough to bring us back home. Thank you!

About Universalove

I am an author on a heartfelt mission. I want to share a truth that makes a difference to how one may exist in the world after trauma and victimization. I want our soldiers, veterans, and innocent victims to know PTSD does not have to own us. In fact, we are far greater than this disorder can ever be. We just have to see it for what it is. We have to see ourselves and once we realize this is our greatest priority, our godhood kicks in and reign.
